MORE ABOUT JASON (SARGE)
Jason is the co-director at Wild Life Academy with a focus on team building and recreation consulting, challenge course & climbing, escape games, and adventure programs.
Having had amazing experiences at camps and with outdoor adventure opportunities in his youth, Jason began working at camps in high school, evolving into leadership and director positions. Along the way, he took most every opportunity to advance his knowledge and experience through working at outdoor centres, cross country ski centres, conservation areas, volunteering with special needs groups, guiding hiking and paddling expeditions, and was brought on as an assistant faculty in the outdoor recreation program he was studying in College.
Graduating from Seneca college’s Outdoor Recreation Technician program, Jason went on to study business at Sir Sandford Flemming college. Jason’s continuing education has provided him numerous opportunities to advance his personal experience and accreditation in outdoor skills and leadership. He has spoken at camps, schools, and conferences about leadership, adventure education, and nature programming. He trains recreational and experiential leaders, and facilitates hundreds of students each year through WLA’s various programs.
Jason has spent over 20 years providing experiential learning opportunities, including work at camps & schools, with behavioral youth, special needs groups, children and adults throughout Ontario and beyond. Jason is very proud of the services and experiential learning that Wild Life Academy provides.
