Camp is a special place!

Wild Life Camp is a small day camp in North Simcoe Muskoka. Operated by recreation, outdoor adventure, and fitness & nutrition professionals, Jillian & Jason (Sarge) of Wild Life Academy.

The camp’s vision is to provide a supportive place for fun, creativity, initiative, contribution, and to draw on the leadership within us all. All campers are encouraged to impart their leadership throughout the camp community, to use positive communication and problem solving to overcome obstacles, to be respectful of our inclusive environment and the individuals who share in it, and to contribute their own creative thoughts and abilities within our safe camp culture.

Wild Life Camp strives to continually challenge campers with dynamic experiential activities, while always respecting their individual comfort and skill level. Campers have an opportunity to build friendships and contribute as a special part of this camp community.

WLC Beginnings!

Wild Life Camp opened in Coldwater Ontario in the summer of 2011 as a community focused program to keep kids active and engaged in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment.

Wild Life Academy provides specialty activities and staff training to other camps and has been providing programs throughout Central Ontario since 1998; with programs also for schools, teams, corporate groups, families, and individuals. Having so much to offer other organizations presented a special opportunity. The directors of Wild Life Academy decided to share their experience and dynamic programs locally, and so, created Wild Life Camp.
